Some interesting survival horror games you should try

Radiation Island

Radiation Island is a survival adventure game where you can create your own destiny in a huge open-world environment. As part of the Philadelphia experiment, you are trapped in a parallel, alternating reality. Explore this new world full of surprises. Use everything you find to survive and solve puzzles to return to the real world.

Walk your own way in the breathtaking beauty and vast environment. Explore the huge forest inhabited by dangerous wolves, bears, and cougars. Investigate abandoned villages and ancient military bases, where zombies guard important tools, weapons, and clues to world secrets. If you can avoid the hungry crocodiles, you can even swim and dive.

Hunt wild animals, fish or collect fruits to overcome hunger. Mine resources and make weapons, tools, and basic vehicles. Find hidden treasures, equipment, and guns to gain the upper hand in a world full of dangers: radiation, anomalies, bad weather, and angry zombies.

Experience the complete day-night cycle and face the dangers of darkness and cold.

Survive and defeat the game to unlock the multiplayer mode: battle other real players online in a closed arena to gain valuable resources.

I like this game, it's fun, and I spent many hours. However, I encountered a glitch and restarted my entire island and all my progress. I learned that I need to keep doing cloud saves to ensure that this does not happen again. I find that annoying. Another thing is that once I finished the first island, the game became a mess. First, the glider didn't work at all. I went to the top of the mountain and there was nothing on the road. It was destroyed. I didn't even get close to the ground. Another thing that happened was that my character would start jumping over and over again. The only way to prevent this is to reset my game. Another error is that the game crashes every 5 minutes and my progress is not saved. The last mistake so far is to cross the ground. If there are enemies nearby, I must die to get out. All in all, once you finish the first island (which I think is really interesting) when you go to another island, there is nothing left after the game is over because it starts to glitch to the point where it is almost unplayable because of Important features do not work. I will give it 5 stars, but because it is a paid game, and it really has a lot of problems, unfortunately, if you have a chance to fix these problems, it will only get 3 stars Stars (I do realize this is years after the release) I will like it and I will give it 5 stars.

Radiation City

Welcome to the world of Radiant City, a great survival adventure is waiting for you!

Forty years after the tragic accident at the Chernobyl nuclear power plant, fate will take you to the carefully reconstructed area of Pripyat. Uncover amazing stories, solve mysteries, and try to save your loved ones.

This is not an easy task. This is a huge open-world area, full of dangers and anomalies. Hungry predators and subhuman creatures, all want a part of you. These elements, coupled with radiation and unexplainable phenomena, make the seemingly lovely environment a place you shouldn't go to. However, here you are.

Look for resources in any building, especially the landmarks of Pripyat: Polissya Hotel, Cultural Center, Prometheus Cinema, Swimming Pool, and all abandoned flat buildings. Make and choose your equipment wisely. Explore and use the campsite to spend the night safely. The equipment, weapons, and vehicles you may find and use are your only friends.

This is a good game that fans of Radiation Island will love to play. It has a huge map that can provide several days of game time and good replay value. However, I agree with other reviewers that there are several gameplay and technical issues that can be incredibly frustrating at times. Production is limited to a few non-critical items, which requires you to stop the task progress and spend a lot of time collecting. Cars are now used as storage boxes, but cars will randomly disappear from the map (even if their location is still displayed on the map) and will take away all your belongings. The largest backpack is very rare and can hold 15 items. After eating, a few necessary drinking fountains, and basic medical treatment, there is not much ammunition and boosters left. You will often find some items, but after playing twice, I still can't determine their use at any time in the game. Before you level up quite a bit, walking is very slow.

I am very grateful that the developers are working hard to solve our collective problems and have pushed updates based on our concerns. By fixing the disappearing car and some graphics glitches, it is easily worth the money.

Escape from Chernobyl

Escape from Chernobyl is not a simple typical mobile game. This is difficult and requires time and strategy to learn and overcome. This game is also the best experience to play with headphones.

In the continuation of the Radiant City adventure, dive into the darkness and danger of the Chernobyl Nuclear Power Plant. Solve the unsolved mystery: find out the source of the story and nightmare of Lauren's encounter.

Navigate the precisely reconstructed Chernobyl nuclear power plant from the destroyed No. 4 reactor to its natural-scale periphery.

From the open-world exploration to the labyrinth-like corridors of each building and nuclear unit building, explore the entire area with a seamless experience. Find weapons and equipment for them and provide you with the advantages you need to overcome this huge challenge.

Radiation anomalies and zombies are just part of the danger of trying to kill you in every corner.

Use improved controls and a wide range of melee and firearms to fight deadly zombie-infested areas and crawling complex experimental abominations. Hone your skills in a new combat system based on natural physics and real actions, and plan your battles and try to survive in the new noise-based stealth system.

Enjoy the amazing graphics powered by Metal in this open-world survival: unprecedented details, physically-based rendering, dynamic shadows, and post-processing
