This game is incredible, Munch's Oddysee is one of my favorite games on the original Xbox, and when I found out there was an iPhone port, I had to play it.

I downloaded it for the first time about a year ago and it played incredibly. Beat it completely without any complaints. Then I bought a new phone, and the game was deleted.

I re-downloaded it yesterday, hoping to play it again, and found some very serious errors. The controls are almost unusable. I hope I can upload pictures of my screen. What appears is not intuitive controls, but messy iPhone controls, or even some Xbox options (X/Y buttons)? I don't know what happened, but I can't even pass the first level with such control. I don't know what patch caused this, I only know that it does more harm than good. Hope to see some improvements soon, once these changes happen, I will update my review.

Oddworld: Stranger's Wrath

I love this game. I played it on XBox and I was very excited, it also works on iOS. I have always liked playing this game, but one thing impressed me. Many of my saved games are "corrupted" and I cannot load from them. I just finished the last gangster in Mongo Valley, and then went to visit the black market. When I left the black market, the stranger failed and didn't walk out the door all the way, so I was stuck inside the door and couldn't get out. So I tried to load from the automatic save after defeating the ultimate gangster before going to the black market, and the save was "corrupted". Before this, my two previous archives were also damaged, so I was forced to re-archive from the first criminal in Mongo Valley. So far, this has happened many times during my game. I like this game very much. I can go through and repeat chapters if necessary, but if the save is not damaged, then we can recover from such a failure, which is great.  I have liked this game since I was a child, but because I play it on the iPad Pro, it is difficult to control with a pen. Maybe if I download it on my phone, it might be better, but the launch and jump buttons will also be turned off. When I'm in a battle, I sometimes don't hit the bottom of the shot, which puts me at a disadvantage. The controls are like I remember when I was playing on Xbox...difficult to control. The quality is the same as before, but it hurts my eyes a bit. But yes, I should put it on my phone, maybe then I won't be so troublesome. Thank you for bringing back my childhood. It’s great to see a full console game on iOS that I can buy without ads or microtransactions. I hope they continue to bring more similar things to the App Store. This port is very well done, and the MFi controller support is perfect. It runs on my iPad Pro 10.5 and looks great. Recently, the audio was interrupted after 10 minutes of playback and I had to restart the application. May be related to iOS 12. If they fix the problem, then the game can easily get a 5-star recommendation.

Oddworld: New 'n' Tasty

This game is my childhood. Abe is my imaginary friend. I mean he and I are going back. Seeing this redo, it was beautiful many years ago. So it's incredible to have it on iOS now. The controls will take a while to get used to, but if you are an old-school fan like me, your muscle memory of the button position will easily come back to you. I was a big fan of Abe's Odyssey and Abe's Exodus, and they published it. When they came out, they joined Lehman as an interesting platform with more depth than Mario or Sonic. These two Abe games are characterized by a very strange world (which should be what Oddworld Inhabitants expect), a cold but interesting aesthetic, excellent voice acting, and characters you want to know more about. Another feature of Abe games is that they usually rely on a few twitching fingers, and usually, you will be one or two frames away, leading to a strong desire to smash your keyboard into tiny pieces.

This work adapted from Abe's Oddysee truly reproduces all these characteristics. The problem is that, just like the previous Sonic CD port, the highlight of this game is the lack of touch screens in duplicating keyboards or gamepads. Everything that keeps this game as it is is still here. This is a truly redesigned port of a truly great game, but this is obviously also a port of the iOS version, once the game has been designed for PlayStation/steam/any other game. , Has completed the modern online game market. I like that we have this gaming phone. This is indeed a very good game, but it lacks graphics and is quite problematic. In addition, many solutions require funding for switches, wheels, or levers that are difficult to see on such a small screen. If you know and like this game, it will be fun to play it on your mobile device, but if you have never played it before, I highly recommend a better version that you can play on the big screen.

I am glad I can play this game again. For me, it is a perennial. But when SoulStorm comes out, I will definitely buy it through Steam
